Ronin's "no seed phrase needed" wallet shuts off for good on Oct. 31. Anything still inside may become inaccessible.
Ronin launched Waypoint in 2024 so gamers could sign in with email instead of guarding 12 words. It's now moving those users to Ronin Stash, built on Privy, or to a regular seed-phrase wallet. The final grace period ends Oct. 31 at 11 a.m. ET, and it only covers people who already reported migration problems.
Nothing moves on its own. Axie players also have to migrate bAXS and badges separately, once, after linking a seed-phrase wallet. The first deadline was Sept. 12. Then Oct. 16, after "reactivated users" turned out to be surprised by it.
Sold as the wallet you'd never have to think about. Turns out you had to think about it by Sept. 12.
