Free-to-play farming game. The land starts at 1 ETH. Feudalism keeps finding new chains.
Yield Fields, Skarly's farm sim on Robinhood Chain, opens its public Dutch auction for Founding Deeds today at 2 PM ET.
The deal, per the team: • 1 ETH sliding to 0.069 ETH over 24h, up to 5 per wallet. Everyone pays the final price and claims back the difference. • Whitelist minted at 0.1 ETH. Their window closes as yours opens. • Anyone farms for free. Deed holders get structures, fertilizer production and ETH backing that "builds with every trade." • Burn a Deed to claim the ETH behind it. Fewer Deeds, bigger slices. • Buybacks fund a Deed-only reward pool. The asset being bought back is, officially, "[REDACTED]."
Token Autopsy: credit where due. Value accrues to the Deed, not to a token with no name. That's more honest than most GameFi.
But read the lease. Deed holders are landlords. Free farmers are the tenants whose crop trades fill the backing. No tenants, no trades, no backing. Just a very expensive cosmetic.
And the redacted token is a second harvest nobody's allowed to see yet.
The auction is fair. The economy is a bet that people farm for free long enough to pay your rent.
Landlord at auction price, or tenant for free?
