Description
Summary
Written from the stream's auto-generated captions.
- Max supply is 500,000 means there'll never be more than 500,000 and circulating supply 360,000.
- Just for anybody who's tuning into this later, I got rid of the ad revenue.
- With that being said, you can see that it doesn't take a lot of money to make the number of each token go up.
- Basically, if you take your circulating supply number and divide it by your market cap, you will get your price per coin or per unit, what per asset, whatever you want to look at it.
- There's a dynamic when it comes to blockchain gaming and having things be online, real NFTs. the fact that you're making things actually a real value a nonfgeable token, right?

We're starting with Lumina completely from the beginning. This is a free-to-play 3D browser, so no download. Adventure built around exploring a shared world, capturing creatures called Lumens, not Pokemon. Training a party and battling other players. So, there's that element as well. The obvious comparison here is, of course, Pokemon. Does this starting scene spark any childhood memories? Put that down in the comments. But Luminina also adds players trading a Salana connected marketplace and its own token economy, which I'm very bullish on their tokconomics for their coin. We're going to treat this as a proper beginner tutorial, though. We'll figure out how to create the account, which I've already done. You just connect a wallet. That's that. And you can actually even use Google to create an account. So that part I didn't show you, but it's literally you go to
the website, you hit play, you connect a wallet or use your Google account, and you're there. Capture our first lumen here. Understand progression and see what exactly the blockchain becomes relevant. When the blockchain becomes relevant, then we'll answer the question that matters most. If we completely ignored the token, would Lumina still be worth playing? Would it still be fun to play? That is the question. Because a DeFi game really has to stand on its own, doesn't it? Again, this beginning scene, it's like, is this supposed to be Professor Oak's house? The door is locked. All right, so this must be the research lab. This is the market. I have played the game before. All right, but I'm giving you a tutorial. This is where you start. And you're going to go talk to this guy. Use spacebar to talk
to people. And what does he say? I'm afraid you've arrived at a strange time. Our old index crystal has been restless all over Lumina. Wild Luminina. Lumens are panicking. So Lumen's kind of synonymous with Pokemon here. Understand this before anything else. Wild Lumens aren't attacking because they're evil. The original codes are being disturbed. So, this is a little bit of lore for you. Something is stirring in the world index and these old eyes can't go chasing it. But a field trainer could, and I have a codeex ready for one. And if you know kind of beginner game stuff here, it's pretty on par, which means paperwork, of course. The codeex needs your registry entry. What was your name again? Um, UGC. Will they let me do that? They sure did. They are inscribed. The codeex uh will now will
know you now wherever you go. But no trainer should walk Lumina alone. And as it happens, I've been keeping something at my workshop. Come inside UGC. It's underground crypto. I have something for you. All right. And this is a Salana based project. to again Salana Marketplace and a token that has some really good tokconomics for all my crypto people out there. So, we're going to press spacebar to interact. Ah, there you are. Come closer. Mind the desk. These are three lanterns. So, instead of Pokeballs, you have these lanterns, right? Each holds a young Lumen. They've been waiting for a partner of their own. Uh, let's go ahead and choose one. So, as you know, this is pretty on par for any beginner Pokemon game. You have your three starters of different element, fire, grass, and water. In my original
account, I did go with fire. So, where do we go from here? I think I think I'd like to go with the grass one. Not going to do well against a fire gym, that's for sure. [snorts] Let's bond with that grass one. A fine choice. The two of you will look after each other. Now come follow me outside. A new pair should feel the daylight together. All right. So we can go outside. We got our starter here. Uh wait, do you feel that crystal is flaring? There's a wild scatter bit. The origin code is destabilizing. Careful. Frightened will fight. Basically, it's attacking me. It's unstable. Typically, I don't read all of this stuff when I'm actually starting a game. Some of it, but not all of it. This is basically just a quick tutorial on how to fight. You
will notice it looks very familiar, right? [snorts] And don't worry, we'll be battling plenty of other stuff. So, instead of a poker center, you're going to see what they have instead. It's just giant crystal. All right. So, you walk up to it, you hit spacebar, and that basically heals all of the lumen that you have. Come with me to the tall grass. Wild lumen often hide there. Again, very on par with any of the original games. Struggart, welcome in. Melissa's in here. Welcome in, guys. So, this grass is full of quiet little trails. Walk through it and you may startle a wild lumen into view. When one appears, basically, it's going to fight you and you'll have the opportunity if you get its HP low to catch it if you were to have a lumen or a lantern, not
a Pokeball, because these are Lumen, not Pokemon. And I like that they're original. They created their own. They gave them their own names. What else do you want? Right. So, you got [clears throat] fight, you can tackle. Obviously, I started with the grass Pokemon. We had three starter Pokemon to choose from. I mean, Lumen to choose from. All right. So, now that he's low HP, you go to your bag and you grab a lantern and it's going to shine some light and pull it into the lantern. And then you have caught it. Nibbug. I don't think I want nibbug, but it is what it is. Just keep an eye on your team's HP. Need a proper sync. And only the relay at Bloom Veil can do that. Take the north pass. Pass soft glade. You may need a little
help get going. So, take these. All right. Oh, it gave me 100 pixels. Nice. Uh, Lumina is kinder than it looks. Go see it for yourself and trust your Lumen or your [music] partner. So, I'm going to go hit that heel real quick. Of course, this little guy here is a market. I noticed that there are these boats in places, but I don't think you can use them yet. I think that comes later. Oh, and of course, you can fish. I do know where to get the fishing rod. I will reveal where to get the fishing rod when we get there. A pecket. Again, I like that they did their own artwork. They they didn't just like put a mouse that's yellow and be like it's uh not Pikachu, right? And call it electric mouse. Like I have literally
seen some games do that. There's no originality there. All right. All we have is tackle at this point. Basic starter mechanics here. [music] You have run, you can run away. You got your bag where your items are. Your team where you could switch to other ones. We have nib bug that we caught even though I didn't really want it. It was part of the tutorial. So, I don't think that I will be putting any energy into level leveling that character up. My usual strat is basically to get some different uh element, right? Get a grass, get a water, get a fire, get, you know, those [music] kind of things until you get six that are worth doing. Now, I do have a main account, so I'm not going to go ham to get like a super rare one by
running around in the same area for forever. Uh, I've done that on my main account. Now, one of the things that we did in the intro was talk about a DeFi game actually has to be fun. It can't just be valuable because it has a token and [music] it's web 3 or something like that. I think this game is fun, especially if you are used to playing the Pokemon franchise games, right? Dang, we got attacked. we will utilize that run function. But I think so maybe kids who've never played those games still might find this game fun. It's a little more up to-date. It's its own take on it. And then of course all that web 3 integration for those who love some blockchain technology. All right, we got Coin. Who does that look like? Doesn't that look like
the Doge dog or something like that? It's called Coinu. I think I think they knew what they were doing here. All we pretty much have is tackle. So, we're going to need to get some level up. A lot of times in some early, the grind is fight a thing or two, go heal, fight a thing or two, go heal. I pretty much always save all my heal potions. I never use them. And at some point, I will certainly show you why. All right, getting lots of XP per one. What do we got to get to? Maybe like level seven or eight >> before we can go into the next area. Of course, here's the market. So, this is the in-game market, right, for in-game currency, >> which is these like gold looking coins. And then you have up here
your actual lumens, the cryptocurrency balance, right? I I don't have a wallet selected because I I went through Gmail because I already uh Another notable thing to put here is the Phantom wallet is like the main web 3 wallet that you're going to be choosing. So, if you don't have a Phantom wallet, you might have to create one just for this game. >> Let's see. We got a Scatter Bit. Kind of reminds me of like a Zigzagon or something like that. I did play quite a few of these games on handheld devices when I was a kid. Be traveling around in the car to the grocery store. Hey, an eight-year-old needs something to do, right? All right, we got a new move. What did it just do against me that was super effective? I'd like to know that. Oh,
bug bite. All right. Apparently, that is highly effective, but we're still going to win out on this one. So, what? We made it to level seven. Now, for tutorial sake, I'm not going to grind. Usually, the grind that you do for like one, of course, night and day does change, but the things that you would grind for like one character, I do for all of the characters generally, so that I had a party of of uh Lumen that were up to par. But, we want to get into the next area. So, I'm just going to get this guy to like level eight or something and then we will get into the next area. Probably need to get a little bit of XP for these other ones though. And of course, they evolve. They do all of that kind of
stuff. What I really like is that there is um incentive to hold the actual token, which is good because we talk in the token autopsies a lot about a token value capture or capturing value in the game for the token because a lot of people could play this game and never buy the token. So what is the incentives for the actual token? rather you want to play the game because you enjoy it. But if you'd also are pretty uh into web three stuff and cryptocurrency and stuff, you might also want to buy the token. The token has a good ability because they give you incentive. You get daily rewards if you hold a certain amount. I think it's about 20 something dollars. So, if everybody playing the game or a high percentage of the people playing the game decide
they would like to buy the token for those daily rewards, well, that's more money flowing into the market cap. And there's even VIP where they have to hold even more. Even I don't hold enough for VIP. You have to hold 100. You have to hold like 10, I think, to get the daily reward. 10 lumen and you have to hold a 100red to get into the VIP. And I think there might be a couple other statistics. Let's get this guy to level eight and then we will go into the next area. Struggart says, "If I like it, I usually hold it anyway." There you go. Definitely if you like it, there's a high odd other people will like it. And this game I thought is well built. Again, we just came out of an era where it was like
very hard to find DeFi gaming or games that were really any good. So, this was a breath of fresh air. I thought it was easy to burn a lot of time in and play. Like some games that we've dealt with before was almost like I had to force myself to play them. You know what I'm saying? Like it was like I wanted to believe in it because it's a blockchain game. But the ones that we've been dealing with, Kindra, this Lumina, um, and many others are genuinely entertaining to play. Walk, World of Claudecraft on the channel. We do a lot of DeFi gaming. You could check out some of those other ones. And let's see. Can we beat this trainer? If I can get through the gr the grass here, that would be great. But there are trainers that
will challenge you. They're where you're going to get your money. Looks like I'm not going to have a whole lot of health here. Let's go with the bird. The bird should be able to take these bugs out. That's what I feel like. Quick attack. I like it's quick nudge, but hey, quick attack is what it would be called in Pokemon. All right, let's go heal up and then let's challenge that trainer. Trainers are where you're going to get some money. money is how you're going to buy your lanterns to catch more luminina to put them in your team or buy potions or whatever you want to do. All right, we got a turtle. Now, I did level this one this turtle up in my other game. your account is very much tied to your wallet. So, I couldn't just
keep my other account and then also show you guys what it's like from the very beginning. I don't know exactly how far we'll get through here, but I want to give you just a general idea of the game play, what you do, and what to expect. And by the time you get past the first or second gym, you'll know what to do. The process is pretty easily repeated. All right, so you got a level three picket. This bird one here that we caught earlier for ourselves and it's down. You get 120 coins or pixels. And that's all he had. There will be more trainers. Yeah. So, I think there's two. I think there's actually three. Trainers are also really good to get some leveling up going. Now, if you like the starter, you can buy them in the market,
and I'll show you the marketplace in a minute, but I think that they disabled new ones from being put up, so you can only deal with what is there. And of course, without an actual market, it's not really that much of a web 3 game. All right, he made it to level six. We can continue on. Of course, we're going to have to get in a fight through the grass to get to our next town here. All right, he's out. packet. You go here. Quick nudge. Oh wow. Is it going to send us all the way back? Whole team is wiped. So here's what happens if your whole team wipes. You're basically going to go back to your most recent town that you were in and all of them will actually be healed like what's the best route through
the grass that I'm not gonna get fought by something. But hey, that's what what can you do? So, usually you would just run around in the grass and fight a bunch of [music] stuff, run back and heal to grind your characters to higher levels. Now, we just got to level nine. There is another trainer. So, I guess there's four trainers in this area cuz here's the other one over here. But this little path over here only takes you back to the town. It's just easy [music] cuz you don't have to go through the grass, but you do have to beat that other trainer in order to do that. I don't think I don't know if we're going to be able to beat this Pekk here. Says it was not very effective what I'm doing. And he's down for the
count. Oh, whole team wiped again. A lot of times I would run back and heal real quick, but it's going to send you back anyways. And I don't really think it keeps track of how many times you've wiped. So, no big deal. Also, it's a trainer and a trainer is going to have some stronger Lumina. Got to try so hard not to call him Pokemon. Again, personally for me, even if you weren't going to play this game, I think the token is highly worth looking at. Just going to throw that out there. Also, if you like this content, if you're somebody who's into DeFi gaming, remember the point of DeFi gaming is you get to own a part of the assets in the game, resell them. If you spend money to buy it, it can go up in value.
Like there's so many reasons why DeFi gaming and ownership of in-game items is so much better than regular gaming where they give you nothing. You grind for hours and hours and hours to get that legendary whatever in whatever game, the top item, and you can you can enjoy it, but you can't sell it like 10 years from now when people want them and there's none out there and you're ready to move on to another game or you don't really care about it anymore. Thinking about like value capture. Looks like I might not be high enough level to beat beat beat beat beat beat beat beat beat beat beat beat beat beat beat beat beat beat beat beat beat that that guy real right right this second but we'll keep trying every time I'm getting a little bit of XP
eventually I will be able to beat them fine snare. So, with that being said, to me, that's why I do this DeFi gaming content, right, is because I'm a big fan of the idea of being able to own on game assets, to participate in the marketplace, to make money, uh, make money on the token. Like, think about a game that has like a currency in the game, but the currency is not worth anything outside of the game, right? So, that's another thing that you want to think about. And it's, you know, how did the evolution of gaming originally start? What was it like? Uh Tetris and like Pong were the original games that existed. Well, now we have Defi Gaming has its own limitations. Did we really just wipe again? All right, we're going to have to grind just
a little bit. Right past that trainer is the next village. And what I really want to show off here is the dynamic in [music] the the progression of the game. So you get to somewhere that's a little bit too difficult and you go ahead and grind. The wild lumen are always going to be a little easier to beat than your trainers. All right, our main starter there just got to level 10. The way that I usually run is I'll just keep fighting and if this lumen wipes, I'll just let the next one in line basically grab the XP. It kind of help you actually level the other ones versus running back, healing it, and keeping all the XP for just your main. But if he's able to win, he's able to win. To me, this is Pikachu, right? the
electric mouse, but they did their own thing. It's original. Gotta respect the original artwork. Trying to figure out why this vine snare is available sometimes, but not all the time. I've never seen that. So, it's very strange to me. Let's see. Is it available? Okay, vine snare is actually available. All right, we're starting to one hit some stuff. That makes grinding real easy. And there's all kinds of different strategies on what you could do. The better you know the game, the better you're going to do the strategy. Come up with your own strategy. All right. Vine snare. That one's down. I think we'll need like two more and then we will go ahead and level up. Then we should be good to take on that trainer. I feel like I've learned that vine snare is highly effective. All right.
And you even regain a little bit of XP whenever you level up. It's not really worth using a potion. It'll save me a run back, but that takes like honestly the run back takes a couple of seconds. Doesn't take very long to do. All right, let's see if we can take out that next trainer. There's four here. I haven't quite made it to the last one, but you basically fight him whenever you want to go back to the first town without actually going through the grass. So, you don't technically really ever have to fight him, or I'm sure you will at some point. All right, here he is. Let's see if we can actually take him out. Reliable J says, "Sent you a list to all the web 3 games in P2E scores." Nice. And I assume you sent
that to me on Discord. I will definitely check that out. I have found quite a few other games and stuff like that. So, looks like it's heating up and there's lots of games out there. But, I will definitely check that out. I can always use more DeFi games to do, especially if we're doing this throughout the week. We still couldn't beat him, but we weren't in perfect health, right? Trying to get through without fighting something. I guess I could run. It's an avid part of the strategy here. I usually never run from anything because it's XP, but for the sake of the tutorial, I think we'll do that. The pond is [music] quiet today. Too quiet. Let's stir up some action. He wants to get to fighting here. Hit that fine snare. All right, first one's down. That one
was easy. No, we won't change. and we'll hit the second one. All right. It's not very effective off kind of makes sense. A vine snare is a grass level is grass type move. It'll show you right up here if you hover over a bug type. So, not necessarily just grass type. It's bug type where if you go over this one, it is actually grass type. So, there is a little bit more nuance than even some of the Pokemon games have. I've noticed that in its classification. All right. So, we finally beat him. running away from stuff was a good idea. Let's come in here. You'll see that your whatever you have first. So, here's like your settings. You have your codeex, which is everything you've ever run into, aka Pokedex. And then you have your actual lumen, which is
your party, and you can change them. Whatever's on top, whatever's first, that's what's displayed behind you, right? You want to show off some super rare one you got. Then you have a vault which is where you can store all the ones that you don't really want in your party. And what else? They have news as well obviously and they have been doing quite a few things. Got season zero crime climb the rank. So there is like an interactive battling competition actual other real players kind of thing. and they were giving away like a thousand lumen, which was pretty good overall, not to one person, right? Then you had the infinity tower where you got to climb different ranks and levels. They have an abyss maze. Uh they had some updates about a few other things here and they have
rip packs. Uh some good things to show you, right? So this little area over here, this thing is where you get your bonus. So, I guess I actually get a rip pack reward, huh? It says rip got nothing. Okay. Why was nothing charged? Let's see. Oh, I get it. So, this is the problem. Because I don't have a wallet actually connected. These things are NFTTS. If I open one, there's nowhere to send it, right? You can't There's nowhere to send it to. But they have that rip pack function. Obviously, I have another account, right? So, I am used to using it. And to do that rip cap function, it used to be you had to hold 10 Lumina. I think it still is. I think it's just doing that because I don't have a wallet signed in. And this
thing is a Renaissance station, so you can merge duplicates of them. But you'll see they have like a DNA code. So, the duplicate has to actually be duplicate. And then you can calibrate. cool traits and improve or worsen Renaissance bonuses. And you're gonna, I believe, have to spend this prism. So, you have Luminina, which is the one currency. Then, you can use your Luminina to buy Prism, right? And that's a secondary in-game currency. And then, of course, you have your actual pixels, which are an in-game currency. You'll see there is a VIP guy here and he'll tell you that you need to hold 100 Lumina to have any access in another town and stuff. They have even more stuff for VIP. And then when you do these rip packs and stuff, right, they have a chance of here, let's
see, it'll show you possible rewards. So, you have all kinds of different it and they've changed a lot of them, but you'll see these crystals. These crystals have to hatch and they have like different uh things in them, actual lumens and even items and stuff like that. And then if you do get one of those crystals, think of it like an egg obviously. You come over here and you'll put it in and it'll have like a time countdown before you can do anything. I don't remember I don't remember there being any way to go through there. So that must be new. Of course, these games are new. They're subject for development and having changes, but also the fact that more people equals more incentive for the developers to give us more stuff to do. This guy right here with
the fishing rod, NPC, quiet waters, always has something to say. Here, take this basic rod. This is where you get your fishing rod. Once you have your fishing rod, you can come here and you wait until it starts going and you're going to click and hold. You're not going to like tap it. You're going to click and hold. We caught it means we get to battle it or fight it. And there is specific lumen that you're only going to get inside ponds and stuff. So, there's fishing in a lot of places and stuff like that, too, just like the original Pokemon games. Of course, another marketplace, but there is also a gym, a leaf gym here. It's a website with the list. Okay, I appreciate you letting me know that. So, stop right there. So, pretty typical dynamics of
a gym in this style gameplay. You're not going to walk right in and challenge the gym leader, right? You got to prove yourself to the gym leader lackey. Nice background. I love this. I'm sure AI generated background, but it looks good in my opinion. [music] Hit that snare. Oh, yeah. That's right. Snare doesn't work very good against this guy. Let's just do like a regular tiny tackle. That's better. All right. And we're really just here for XP. I don't actually expect to be able to defeat this character. Oh, wow. He's so fast. He went twice. Didn't even get a second hit. All right. See if I can beat him with his own person. Quick nudge. Yeah, it's the game we're playing here. We're both using quick nudge. Quick nudge. There we go. Some XP. And I highly doubt we're
going to get the next one, but I'd rather wipe on the next one than have to run all the way back, honestly. Wow, one hit me. It's only level eight, but the trainers, any Pokemon with a trainer is usually or Lumen with a trainer is usually much stronger than one you would fight in the wild at the same level. The lore of the game this is after is is definitely explained that many times. All right, let's see if we can actually beat this gym. I wasn't at full health before, so maybe we could do a little better here because I actually got a really good decent first hit in. All right, so first one down. Let's see what we can do against the second one here. O, that wasn't very effective. It seems like we need to go with
tiny tackle. That was decently. Oh, we got one more chance. Oh no, he was too fast. He took us out. And we'll switch out the same one. Uh, if we can do this, I think we can actually win and challenge the gym leader. Gym leader usually has a final lumen that is going to be difficult to beat. This is the first gym. So, like you might be able to kind of come in and beat that first gym. I chose on my main account, the one I actually play. This is for a tutorial. I chose the fire starter. So, I didn't have much trouble with this first gym. But the second gym is a water gym, and I had a lot of trouble with that one. That was like the most difficult time I had. Another thing is the game
uh intensity changes quickly. So, you will be grinding uh a good bit. Let's see. A cocoonib. Usually, when they're in this cocoon function, they can't really attack much, but apparently in this game, uh they can do really well. And the classic games, all they do is harden. Like, they'll just harden over and over and over. It's like all they can do. Like, what is it? Meta something. If you know, you know. All right, let's see if we can do any. I don't think we're going to win this one, but we shall see. Now, of course, gym leaders have potions. Trainers have potions. Yeah, we're not even going to put a dent in it. We're going to need to do some grinding. Again, basic idea, just heal, fight some things, get some XP. Heal, fight some things, get some XP.
We'll probably challenge this other trainer here just because that can be a great place to grab some XP. I'm not going to worry about trying to get other things and necessarily make them stronger. I'm just going to pick like one or two here and continue to level them up. We'll try that out. I don't usually take that approach. All right, we beat him. Let's go heal up. And a lot of times when I grind, I will go to where I'm most likely to just oneh hit stuff, right? Because I'm going to level much faster just onehitting things all day than for me to struggle and have to really even think about what's going on. One hit gave me 23 XP. But for me to fight two different things and get 46 XP is usually going to be a lot
quicker and simpler and [music] require a lot less trips to heal up. Let's see. Yep, 23. So, looks like 23. Usually, you can do this pretty quickly. Every once in a while, you'll run around and run around and run around and not really be able to generate an actual fight, but normally it's much quicker like you see. Oh yeah, it's not effective against this guy. So, we'll use something else. Put him down. Usually, when you go against the same, you know, grass versus grass, that kind of thing. Although, that's grass versus bug. Like I said, there's a little bit more nuance here. And I still use that move even though I know it's not very effective. Why do I do that? All right. Looks like one more will get a level and then we'll go grind somewhere else. level
13. Now, certainly what I can do here is go into settings, lumens, pick pick it, swap, put him where I want him. The nib bug I didn't really choose to get. That's just was like from the tutorial. I'm not going to level that one. I'm not really interested in that. Let's see. So, this picket is normal and flying, which is to me why it's worth actually leveling him up because he will be useful to us. Normal is good because normal usually is decent against everything, but never really superior against anything. Now, I don't know the exact mechanics of this game. All right. It's not a one hit. It's a two hit. But it still makes life easy. Although, when you're getting two hits instead of one, you're going to take a hit. So, you're going to have to go
actually level up more often. Ah, this nib bug would get a one hit. So, that's good to know. Of course, a bird versus a caterpillar, a worm or whatever. It's a caterpillar. It's definitely going to be uh an easy fight. And I don't plan on grinding very far before we actually go rechallenge. Tell me what strategy you would use and what it what strategy did you like in the old games. Tell me about uh how you feel this stacks up to the original, you know, Pokemon games play stuff like that. Do you think it's comparable? Do you think it's more fun? Do you think it's less fun? Of course, the world is pretty decent side. I've actually on my main account, I have not explored all of it. I'm still I'm still grinding because like I said, when you
move area to area, it does get much more difficult very quickly. like you'll just go into the next area. It'll be much more difficult where I feel like in the original Pokemon games, you would go through two or three areas before it would actually really increase in difficulty and level of things that you were fighting, stuff like that. All right, let's see. Do we get to actually level up here? But for me, this game is highly nostalgic. I love that it's like nostalgic, but it's kind of got this whole updated vibe to it, if you will. And to me, that makes it a lot of fun. And just like uh the other review we did the other day, World of Cloudcraft, the nostalgic makes me like it a lot where I don't know exactly what I don't know, a
kid or something, somebody coming in who's maybe more like 15, 16, 17. I don't know how they would feel about this. They might think it's cool and interesting if they know where it comes from. If not, they might be like, "This isn't Call of Duty style or this isn't, you know, GTA level gaming. We'll get there. When it comes to DeFi gaming, blockchain gaming, we will get there for sure. We've seen a lot of moves that World of Cloudcraft is highly more impressive than a lot of the games that we've had for a very long time. Also, Kindra far more impressive than a lot of the other games. There's a dynamic when it comes to blockchain gaming and having things be online, real NFTs. the fact that you're making things actually a real value like a nonfgeable token, right?
NFT basically it's a 101 and you can prove that you own it. So like that brings a lot of nuances to developing and building a game where if you just build a game traditionally, you're mostly worried about things like graphics and gameplay and stuff, but you're not worried about any of that other stuff. Am I not going to be able to fight my way out of here? Is that what we're doing? Oh, no. I got my main. Oh, yeah. I keep forgetting that's not effective. All right, we're going to go back to challenge that gym leader real quick. Got to stop by the Poké Center. I mean, the the Lumen Crystal. Let's see. I don't think they'll let me through here. Do they let me through? Oh, they do. Okay. So, you don't have to beat the gym. This
is the next area. Of course, there's places to fish and ponds and trainers. Let's see if we could beat a trainer. See how far they level up the cap, even though we haven't beat the actual gym yet. Maybe this will help us get Yeah. 8 versus 12. See, it's a big gap, but it's about on par with my main who's level 13. But again, trainer usually more difficult. All right, I'll take that XP. I was going to go straight to the the gym. I just wanted to show you basically fight the trainers, grind in the grass. Each area is going to have new ones. Like you haven't seen this drift driftal yet. Think about which original characters they remind you of, right? Let's see. Can we get another win in? Get a level real quick. You don't actually increase
in like uh defense and attack and all those different things until you level up. Again, I'm not leveling that one, so I didn't expect him to put up much fight. There we go. Let's see. Can we get one more in? Yes. Oh, but it didn't level us. Oh well. Definitely need to hit that heal. I am going to get that level because I think it's going to help us. I'm surprised you don't see as many players online, too. When I play on my other account, probably because maybe I'm up in a higher area. A lot of players. It It's definitely got some people who really like it because I noticed there are a lot of people playing it. All right, got that level up. Oh, it's not going to let me go. Huh? Shelix. I definitely uh Shelix, this
is another one that I actually chose to level up the last on my main account, I should say. And it's also very interesting to think like, you know, kids nowadays not going to particularly know the old Pokemon stuff. They might, but they also might not. But if this thing can do well or a game like this can do well in franchise and stuff, who knows? Maybe this will be what they remember. I'm talking about the young kids of five years from now. If this was able to pick up a lot of traction. If only I had a fire. Maybe I should have chose fire. I want to choose something different than what I have on my main account so I could could see how that goes. Of course, I don't get to sit around and play a lot of
DeFi games. This is a lot of time my time to explore and do things. And I wanted to create some tutorials. That's what we've been doing lately. Melissa says 3 I3 to counter Struggle Hearts 111 in the chat. Appreciate you guys being here. I am using all the wrong stuff. Not paying attention. I don't think we're going to beat him. Oh, definitely not going to beat him with Nib Bug. And I only have so much time to show you this tutorial. So, I was trying not to spend a ridiculous amount of time grinding because it's repetitive. You go through the grass, you fight things, you get XP, you go back, you heal, rinse and repeat till you get to the level. It is a little repetitive, but it's also very straightforward and easy to do. One thing I keep
messing up is that I really I really need to change the order I got going on here. I think this guy might be more suited for the next character the gym leader has. All right, give me my main. Let's see what we can do if I don't use the non-effective moves, which I still did. See, he healed. They're going to do that to you. And they do it randomly. You never know when they're going to do it to you. And I could heal, too. But then he's just going to hit me. It won't matter. It'll just be a waste of a heal. And of course, I wish I should probably just get rid of this one. But, you know, if if whatever I'm fighting has like the tiniest amount, one hit could could decide winning or not winning. Let's
[clears throat] try this out. Let's switch our main back up to the top. It's also a good opportunity to figure out what works well and what doesn't work well. And of course, normally I would have multiple other characters to try out. I didn't catch a bunch of other stuff >> because aside from doing this tutorial, who knows if I'll actually ever play this. Don't want to have too many accounts on a game, especially when you don't get to sit around and play the games anyways. Oops. Heal every time that they make it difficult. Ah, we were so close to taking that one out. Oh, wait. Can he do it? Probably not. Oh, he healed. That's pretty much a wrap there. Mosa says, "Bedime. See you guys later." All right. Thank you for being here. So, as you can see,
what I need to do is I need to come down here and I need to grind out some more levels and then we can go challenge the gym and then you'll beat the gym, you'll go down the next path, you'll go to the next gym, so on and so forth. So, let's go down here. Quick nudge. All right, it's somewhat effective. Really, I need to have at least two lumen on par level-wise. Otherwise, I don't have much chance of beating that gym. Oh, that's not very uh effective, is it? Somehow, tiny tackle is far more effective. O, not going to pull it off, huh? I don't even want to give that other one anything. [clears throat] So again, grind, level up, go beat the gym leader. You don't get a badge. You get, I think, a signal is what
they call it. You're going to go this way and you're going to go this. Keep going. And that's going to take you to the next gym, which is a water gym. You're going to want to hold at least 10 lumino. It's good because I think the coin's going to perform well. And if you don't really believe in, you don't want to hold more than 10, but you want to play the game, you could just hold 10 and get your daily rewards and things like that. You got to hold a 100 Lumina to get VIP, which got to be over $200 for the average person. Probably not something you want to do, but at least you could hold 20 something bucks of it. And who knows, that 20 bucks could turn into a 100 bucks. A 5x on these tokconomics.
I wouldn't normally say something like that, but these tokconomics are really good. And we're going to wipe because we're nowhere near where we need to be. But I just wanted to make a quick tutorial, show you what the beginning of the game is like, the characters is like, talk a little bit about my comparison here. I really wanted a moment to talk about the tokconomics of the coin. So, if we come to Coin Gecko here and you know anything about tokconomics, hopefully you do. Some people are crypto people. They'll watch it because they know my channel. Other people might click on it because of the game. So, it's $2.31, right? Its market cap is about 833,000. Max supply is 500,000 means there'll never be more than 500,000 and circulating supply 360,000. For reference, a lot of projects like Bitcoin
have 21 million or a million or a billion. Some of them have trillions, meme coins. And basically, if you take your circulating supply number and divide it by your market cap, you will get your price per coin or per unit, what per asset, whatever you want to look at it. Like, it doesn't really matter. It doesn't change the math, right? And there'll only ever be 500,000. So, with that being said, you can see that it doesn't take a lot of money to make the number of each uh token go up. It really doesn't take a lot. Now, if it had 18 million or 21 million or a billion tokens, it would take a lot of money to make this go up. And that is mostly why I like it as far as buy it and and it goes up.
Maybe you just buy a couple like 20 $25 of it, get your daily rewards when you play if you actually like the game and it going up for you is just a bonus. Other times people the price of the asset going up is their main function. So let's show off there's an arena right which is new where you can go and fight other characters. This is a very interesting right part of it. And then there's a market where you can see you can have all these different filters. Shiny only sell other activity that you've had or something like that. Items, right? Basto. Anybody know what that's compared to? Maybe Blastoise. Anyways, this is what makes it a real web 3 game. All these are NFTTS. And so when you have one, you have proof of ownership on the blockchain.
If you don't know what web 3 gaming is or DeFi gaming or blockchain gaming, those are all the same thing. There's just different ways of saying it.
