Anyways, I love that we're still above that 4 hour, you know, right here. where I was getting a little bit curious when we were dipping under that 21 and headed to the 200 and we just recovered. Again, you can't lose the 200 until you lose this 21. So, first I watched the 21 and then we watched the 200

day moving average, the 4hour chart for BTC. This is actually a perpetual contract. Uh it doesn't vary probably too much, but it is a week's perpetual just [music] if anybody has any slight differences on their chart. Of course, we were talking about the shoulder head and shoulder. And if it did get the move, this would have been your measured move there. But it doesn't look like we were. And I said, maybe you remember, maybe you're an undergrounder, maybe you come to the show, maybe you know. I said I was pretty sure, feeling feeling very confident. Let's put it that way. I'm never sure of anything but the fact of my own ignorance, but I was feeling very confident that there was a good chance we weren't going to lose this 200 because of the atmosphere around crypto right now.

So, it's very interesting. Is the bottom of the market in was this the bottom that we're going to look back on and we're going to call it, you know, 57,800 5800. Is that what we're going to talk about? Or are we due for 4540 as some people say? And this is just a moment. Again, if you study your 4year, it's like October 5th that you should have the bottom of the market. So, just mark that in your head. You don't have to necessarily, but you know, you hey, shouldn't take any advice from me. I'm not a financial adviser, but I wouldn't necessarily go sell your house and uh try to catch the bottom of the market on October 5th. But if you got maybe, you know, a thousand bucks laying around, maybe you want to deploy it then. That's

And last week, we did a really heavy intensive educational, you know, focus. Now, for this week, we're going to still be educational because we're raising that crypto IQ, baby. Either way, but we're going to dial it back a little bit, make something that's a little bit more fun, maybe something that's a little more directly uh, you know, in your wheelhouse, something you're very concerned about if you're on this stream. Is crypto going to recover? How do we

test it? How do we look at it? What are the parameters? What should we be looking for? I think you guys are going to really like this. So, Bitcoin has recovered from below 60,000. We were just talking about 58,08 and recently pushed back even above 65,000 before giving up a part of that move. Cooler inflation data improved risk sentiment and money returned into spot crypto ETFs. And that sounds encouraging, but it does not automatically prove that the market has entered a new bull trend. That's to note. And we're not here to give you just bullish bullish bullish because that'll paint you the wrong, you know, picture and you might do something crazy even though you should take full responsibility for what you do. We we do we weigh the odds, right? We want to be somewhere in the middle.

We want to know what's bullish. We want to know what's bearish. We know what's good, what's bad. Uh well, from what's up from what's down. I think you get the point. Prime Minister in the house. the difference between a bounce, a relief rally, and a genuine trend reversal, and what evidence you should be watching. So, let's increase that crypto IQ. The quote of the day comes from Benjamin Graham. In the short run, the market is a voting machine. Think about it like that. Anybody ever thought about the market as a voting machine? But in the long run, so that's the short term. It's a voting machine. In the long run, it is weighing machine, right? It's weighing the value of things. Tonight's connection. Short-term price reflection reflects emotion. Same thing is positioning, right? Sustainable market value eventually needs demand, liquidity, and stronger underlying conditions to support those moves. And you may not know this, but Bitcoin ETF recorded approximately 132 million in net inflows on July 17th, while Ethereum's ETF had approximately 36.7 million, which I

think is pretty proportionate. However, Black Rockck's IBIT contributed about 135 or about 136 million to Bitcoin total while another major fund experienced a small outflow. So, it was a big buy. Here's the point. It was a big buy from Black Rockck. That means Bitcoin's ETF category finished positive, right? So, it ended positive for whatever it was, the cycle, the quarter, the the month, whatever they're measuring here. But the demand was heavily concentrated in one product, right? It wasn't dispersed between multiple different people's ETF. It was just Black Rockck's ETF, right? This teaches an important lesson here. The numbers may look stronger than the participation underneath it. So when you have all of it coming in from one, you know, institutions ETF or something like that, it's very important to note that maybe that's not the biggest strength across the

board from all the institutions, right? We know because of Black Rockck's buy that they're very bullish on it or that in the moment they might sell it later, but in the moment they're they're buying 136 million in ETFs on July 17th. But that doesn't mean all the other institutions feel the same. When evaluating a recovery, we need to ask some questions here. Is it demand spread across the market? Is it continuing for several several weeks? That's definitely something we want to know. If you're trying to catch a trend, swing trading or something of that nature, is one buy carrying most of the move, right? One big player. The problem is with one big player and they're big buys, when they do big sells, you're going to have big volatility. Is price responding strongly to the new demand? Are people

believing in the trend change or the pump? Right? A sustainable recovery normally becomes broader, not narrower. Right? Does that make sense to everybody? We're going to kick this thing off. We're going to go to the crypto bubbles and see what's going on. I'm excited to be here on a Monday. Like I said, I love streaming and I [music] love the community. I love hanging out with you guys. And so, when I'm off for a day, I got a lot of work to do on that day. But at the same time, I really miss being on my stream and hanging out with everybody. Whether it's raising my own crypto IQ or doing some DeFi gaming, I really am all about it. All right, so here we are at the crypto bubbles. Let's toggle that one through 1000. Take a look

I think Hamster would be one of the people that would heavily benefit from what we're doing. Um we don't have to necessarily, you know, you know what I'm saying? So anyways, 1 through 1,00 1% on 2 to 300 1.9 the biggest one 78. So we'll check that out. Let's go back to more of our individual here. I think it's so funny if

Anyways, big big green bubbles here is virtual. Uh not that they're really big moves, but you know, it's proportional here. Even ICP getting a 3.6 move to $222. Daxi Daxi is one to watch, man. This thing is already at a 1.7 billion, but for whatever reason, it is just held up beautifully in this market. they don't want to like, you know, take responsibility or live out the the reality of what happened to them. They're going to like try to reverse it and roll over to another stream and you're going to have like Bonk and Bonk Classic or something like that. It's going to be pretty hilarious. to come back to the stream a little bit because we've been cooking. We've been doing a lot of cool stuff. It's definitely bottom of the bear market vibes. Uh I know you're smart. I've talked to you enough. I know you understand that this is where all the opportunity lives. Like this is the time to kind of lock in. If you're busy, I get it. I'm just I'm just uh suggesting, right? I might be a little biased. Anyways, uh through 2.3 trillion up 1.5% overall market cap. That's good if we can keep that trajectory. You'll notice that I like to read all of the prices here like the top 20 or 30. I don't read every single one. I'm not going to read you Tether every day, but we kind of focus on the price of things daytoday and then

the 7-day chart, right? So, what I like to look at moving forward after doing this for so long is that we're getting a pump, right? So, kind of look at Ethereum's percentage, look at BTC's percentage on the 7day, and then if we get a pullback, look to see what holds up better, what keeps its percentages, right? If Ethereum keeps like a 6% up when everything else kind of goes to zero and gives all of its pump back, then we kind of know, hey, Ethereum's strong right now. BTC $65,479. All right. It's a S so store of value mining protocol with a 2 million hard cap supply. 2 million. We talk about tokconomics all the time. 2 million is great. I don't usually curse. I don't know where that came from. I apologize. I've heard that YouTube doesn't like it

if you curse too many times. Hopefully it'll allow me one. But uh hopefully that tells you how bullish I am on those kind of tokconomics. It's amazing. Uh God also implementing new features. Yeah, don't sleep on that. they're building. See, when you get a new project, you're watching a project, maybe you mess with the protocol, whether it's a DeFi game or whatever it is, right? When they don't integrate, like 6 months goes by and there's no new features, there's no real hype, there's no anything. There's nothing going on, I start to get worried, right? And then two, three, four more months go by, I start like minimizing my exposure to it. And I'm learning all of this stuff from being here every day with you guys. And like I said, it it just compounds. [music] And it's just been

highly valuable to me. And I want everybody to understand that compounding uh value of raising your crypto IQ daily. We are all in the sauce here. So Ethereum $1,913 getting above $1,900. Like I said, I I own a tiny bit of Ethereum and I bought most of it around 1,900. I say a tiny bit to somebody else. It might be a lot of bit. It just depends on, I guess, what a lot of money is to you. To me, it's a tiny amount. And no, it's not because I'm a millionaire rich, right? I'm in the I'm in here grinding with you guys, trying to make it in this market just like everybody else. I also haven't been here as long as a lot of your other YouTubers and streamers, just for reference, a lot of them have been here

like multiple multiple cycles, 8, 10, 12, 15 years stuff. [music] And that's why they have the money that they have. And I'm believing that if I stick around and pay attention for 10 years, I'm going to be in a very similar place. B&B $573, XRP $112, uh, Salana $78, Tron 32, White Bitcoin is an exchange coin, right? $56.91, still number 10 by market cap. For an exchange coin to be number 10 by market cap, I got to wonder what the heck is going on there. Um, and I'm not saying it's bad or fraudulent or any of that. So, if you just hold the unrefined goddle that you have, you're getting a really nice APY, right? If you uh refine it, you know, you can do things like stake it. You can buy the NFTts they have to get additional staking power, you know, percentage APY. If you do that, it makes it a lot more worth it. I'm my strat right now. I'm just holding, you know, my unrefined. We can go to my wallet

And if we go to max chart here, you'll see at one point this thing went to about $500. I thought it went to 1,500 at one point, I thought, is what somebody told me. Yeah, back here. Let's see. It'll just tell you alltime high down here if you go look at it. 1451. That was almost two years ago. So, you could look at you could look at that high if you want

to be like moon mass like super bullish. Uh, I'm watching those numbers and then uh if you go to like the second high there, it's more like $500. Either way, or is at 72 bucks, you'd catch some nice X's. But I'm just saying that because it's about the same idea as far as a protocol. I'll bring it up just so you can see how like very similar these things are. Uh, where's the mine? Oh, I got to connect a wallet before they're going to let me look. I don't actually uh do ore. why we're talking about this, but for the rest of us out here, uh, price creates false confidence when it's been dumping and it turns around or when it's been pumping really hard. Just flip it, like flipping a chart. When it's been pumping really hard and it starts to fall, people like, "Oh, it's just a little 10% dip at the top of the bear bull market." They always say that, "Oh, it's just dipping 20%. It's normal." And then the next thing you know, you're down like 96% six months later, eight months later. Social media becomes optimistic, right? Social media goes nuts. Everything for crypto pretty much lives on Twitter if you haven't caught on to that. Traders increase leverage. Previously ignored action begins pumping. [music] Investors who were afraid to buy near the bottom suddenly feel pressure to buy at

high prices. The problem is that nearly every major decline contains upward rallies. So become new trend. Some become new trends, right? Others merely provide temporary relief before selling resumes, which could be where we're at right now. That's why it's really important. This series is very much about kind of where we are right now in the market. So, don't sleep on that. Price moving up is evidence, but it's not the whole entire case. Right? Here's the shift. Stop predicting and start confirming. Stop guessing is what we're saying. Instead of asking how high will Bitcoin go, let's ask better questions. Let's ask more crypto raising IQ questions here. Has the market stopped creating lower lows? An actual trend change signal? Are buyers defending the pullbacks, the bears and the bulls? Is spot demanding increase? Right? Is spot demand for the asset

increasing or is it just a bunch of perpetual market stuff? Are ETF inflows persisting, picking up? Is volume supporting the moves? Is leverage controlled? Are more assets participating? This changes the investor's job from guessing the future to evaluating the evidence before you. I love how you guys are still going with the numbers and we haven't even started the next giveaway. But we just gave away a free $5 worth of crypto. And this community is so generous that even if you win it, sometimes they just give it to somebody else. Prime Minister, shout out to him. He got it. Build a repeatable recovery test, a way to determine if a, you know, trend has actually changed or if we're just getting like a what they call a dead cat bounce or a bounce in general. "Yeah, that sounds good." Yeah, I think it's a great idea. I think I'm going to do that. Uh, let's see. By monitoring several independent signals, we can classify the market more intelligently. A temporary bounce, a developing recovery, a confirmed trend reversal, and a recovery beginning to fail. Now, there's somebody who I found just at the exact same time pretty much that I found the Lifer on Around the Blockchain, right? A a a subsidiary type show that was on Bit Boy Crypto, right? A lot of cool people were on there from altcoin daily to the crypto lifer to cryptogeb who I'm going to talk about for a second because I think this is really important what we're talking about. When we got up to like 79,000 80,000 that most recent real rally he said don't get too excited. I've been

doing technical analysis for like 15 years. We haven't actually confirmed a bull market. even though we pumped a lot, we hadn't confirmed a bull market. And he said if you could get above basically 83,000 to 84,000 and hold it for like three, four, five days, a week or so, then you will confirm a bull market. And that's exactly where we where we switched. That's exactly what we didn't get. I shared the video. I talked about it. I really tried to let you guys know that, hey, it seems really bullish, but we haven't actually confirmed. This is what we're saying. You can get all hype because we pumped $20,000 in Bitcoin. Or you could really pay attention to what actually determines a bull market confirmed a trend reversal confirmed that kind of stuff. Of course, time frame highly important. says,

"Why did the Discord pass? I'm at the stream. I don't know what you mean by the Discord passing." Anyways, yeah. So, we can still So, we still cannot remove uncertainty, right, in a market, but we can avoid making major conclusions from one uh exciting price move when we really don't have the confirmation. And uh welcome in. Welcome to Underground Crypto Show. So, I want to talk about something serious here. Right. A bounce, a relief rally, and a trend reversal are all different things. How much do you know about this? Right? And we're about to give away free $5 here as soon as I'm done with this. A bounce is simply an upward move after selling, right? It's literally a bounce. We were we were dropping and then it started to move back up and correct. Right. A relief rally happens when selling pressure temporarily weakens and bearish traders close positions. It can be powerful without changing the larger trend. Right? So this is kind of like you're getting some some change in the price action the price trend very very locally but it's not changing the larger overall trend. A trend reversal occurs when

the market behavior changes. Buyers defend higher prices, pullbacks become shallower, former resistance becomes support, and the demand persists beyond a few sessions. The market stops repeating its bearish structure. We have a real change in trend. The duration of quality of the buying matters more than the excitement of one candle. If you're in the one minute getting super hyped on one big candle, that could be problematic overall. if you're if you're trading. V3 uh Bedan says, "Hi, welcome in. Welcome in. Smash that like button. I love to see all these new people." By the way, guys, you see all these new people coming in the chat. Know that this is you. This is this is what happens when you guys show up and you actually [music] uh you know, I incentivized you a little bit, but you guys actually keep

the chat moving. You bring more people into the community. It's uh you know, an amazing thing for the channel. So, begin with market structure. A declining market commonly creates lower highs, lower lows, another lower high, and another lower low. That's a trend. It's repeatable pattern. You know it's changed when you go from lower high, lower low to a higher high, a higher low. Now you've changed trend. If you don't see that, you haven't actually changed trend. That sequence shows sellers remain in control. The developing recovery begins interrupting that pattern. Bitcoin stops making new lows. It breaks above a previously meaningful high. Right? The following pullback remains above the old low. Right? You hold support, support and resistance. Buyers return before the market completely retraces the advance. That creates the first possible higher high in a trend change. One higher

low does not guarantee a bull market, right? But it gives a strong structural evidence that price merely bouncing from an oversold level. So you have a support and resistance flip right now. You can tell yourself, hey, if that support and resistance level that we just SR flipped, right, that we just flipped, it went from being resistance to support if you were dumping or vice versa if you were pumping. You could say if we lose that support and resistance, this trend reversal is over. So now you have a clear line of okay, now I'm going to switch to the new trend from up or down or down to up, right? And you know that that support and resistance. If you lose it and close a candle, say you're trading like the five minute, you're trading the 15m minute or the

hour, you know that that trend reversal is now highly questionable and probably not going to happen, right? What is going on in this chat? Shout out to everybody in the chat. Prime Minister says, "The issue with L2 is there are too many of them causing fragmented liquidity." Absolutely. And they just keep popping up. Decentralized exchanges can be like that a little bit, right? But like also they're not as fragmented liquidity, but there's too many of them. ETH gas fees were sort of reduced during the Duncan upgrade. They really only get expensive during high traffic. ETH has fixed some of the previous issues that layer 2 solved. Prime Minister says, "Yeah, that's me. Lol. I've been on Eugi's channel since day one." Yeah, Prime Minister is an OG. Minecraft for Kids says, "This is boring." Well, go play Minecraft. Isn't

that what your name is? Like, go play Minecraft. Why are you here? Uh, let's see. Right on. Remember, great to see you, man. All right, so a breakout must hold. Breaking above resistance attracts attention. Holding above it provides confirmation. Suppose Bitcoin repeatedly falls near the same price over and over. If it finally pushes above that level, we watch what happens next. a stronger breakout. Usually close above resistance, attract meaningful spot volume, remain above the level during a retest, and converts former resistance into support. Basically, what I was just saying about support and resistance, right? That's why kids shouldn't come to the stream because kids don't even know what we're talking about. A weaker breakout usually moves above resistance briefly depends heavily on leveraged buying fall back below the level quickly traps late buyers. This is why trades call certain

moves fake outs. This is what a fake out is, right? Spot demand is stronger evidence than leverage alone. So, when you see the demand and inflows coming in on the spot purchases, that tells you that people are thinking a little more long-term. When it's all perpetual, they're not really concerned long term. They're just probably trying to get a pump right now. And they're also quick to sell. Spot buyers purchase the actual asset. Derivative traders can control larger positions using borrowed capital. Leverage can make a recovery look strong than its underlying demand actually is, right? Cuz somebody's got a bunch of money on leverage. When many traders expect Bitcoin to fall, a small price increase can force short sellers to close. Those forced purchases accelerate the rally. It's a short squeeze. If you're a lifer, you've heard about a short

squeeze many, many, many times. Prime Minister says, "We eaten over here. Minecraft is super bored." I'm super bored. Minecraft, I'm super bored. Huh. I'm probably not reading that right. Let me not get distracted. Now we want to ask an important question here about a short squeeze, right? A short squeeze may start a genuine recovery, right? But it cannot confirm one all by itself. After shorts are removed, ordinary buyers still need to continuing purchasing. Basically, short squeeze happen and then they get excited and then a bunch of new people enter bullishly or or the opposite. You can have a long squeeze, right? What you want to ask is did spot trading volume increase at all? Did the rally continue after the liquidation slowed down? Are buyers still holding positions and does price remain firm without extreme leverage? If you don't

know your technical analysis and things, this might be a little bit hard to follow, but that's a good indicator. You might want to raise your crypto IQ. Even if you don't necessarily plan on doing a ton of leverage trading or regular trading, this is more about being able to look at a chart and understand what the heck is going on. It's very important. Shout out to the lifer, Crypto Lifer, who live streams constantly every single day for five years if you're really really into this. We're covering it in a series this week, but that's where you want to go. Volume shows participation, not direction by itself. Volume tells us how much activity is supporting a move. A price increase on expanding volume generally carries more information than the same increase during thin trading. However, high volume is not automatically

bullish necessarily. [music] Heavy volume can also represent sellers distributing assets into um enthusiastic buying, right? Or a top. Use volume in context here. So, rising price plus expanding volume can show stronger participation. Rising price expanding volume shows a stronger participation. Yeah, I if you don't if like you just don't know how how sauce this is. This is so important and you can use it in a lot of applications, right? Rising price plus falling volume can show weakening conviction. Falling price go down plus heavy volume can represent panic or capitulation. And a stressful retest can controlled volume uncontrolled volume, right? which is usually like a retest trader can show sellers are losing influence. Volume strengthens an argument. It does not make the decision alone. So volume can strengthen the idea the trends the you the trends changing whatever the structure

change stuff but it it doesn't alone mean that it's happening. What is going on in this chat? Yeah, prime minister says yo kid you can learn from your a lot from your pops. He doesn't know yet. He doesn't know yet, but he will eventually understand the value. I'm sure of that. Just got to get a little bigger. Why did the student eat his homework? So, ETF flows are important but need persistence. ETF spot ETF creates an accessible path for

traditional investors to gain crypto exposure. Recent flows improved Bitcoin and Ethereum produ products. Right. So, recent flows have improved. I gotta slow down. Bitcoin and Ethereum products both attracted capital at the end of last week, but earlier weakness was substantial enough that city reduced its Bitcoin and Ethereum forecast. So, where they predicted it to go at the beginning of July, they pretty much already changed it, citing ETF outflows and weaker investor interest. So, they're basically adjusting, they're adjusting their prediction, but there's a reason. The right question is not simply were today's flows positive. We have to ask have flows this is ETF flows right buying and selling of the ETF remain positive across several weeks are multiple funds attracting capital or is it just black rockck buying all of it right are inflows growing or are they fading is

price responding to that de demand and we're going to pivot after this to ETF inflows right we have nice charts and stuff are inflows large relative to previous outflows I don't know why I can't Are inflows large relative to previous outflows? Right? Are they kind of the same as you have inflows but about the same outflows and vice versa? One positive week is an improvement. Sustained accumulation is confirmation. There's a big difference there. Market tells us whether the recovery is spreading. Bitcoin can still rise while much of crypto remains weak. We've seen this time and time again. This was our entire bull market. Bitcoin pumping the rest of the market doing not much of anything right so market breth asks how many assets are participating you probably never really heard of this right so let's break it down is

Ethereum strengthening while Bitcoin with Bitcoin right is is Bitcoin pumping and then Ethereum is also pumping or is Bitcoin pumping by itself and nothing else is doing anything Ethereum's kind of the gateway to the altcoins right so if Bitcoin's pumping and Ethereum is pumping thing that usually signals that money is going to flow into some altcoins, probably your higher market cap altcoins, not your number 1,000 market going, you know, market cap coin anyways. But if Bitcoin is just pumping by itself and Ethereum is doing nothing, then money's probably not going to flow. A major altcoins establish better structures, right? Do we have better structure on the chart? Are gains spread across credible sectors, right? Or is it all in one place? or are a few tiny tokens creating the appearance of market strength, right? While everything else is not

really doing much. So, a healthier recovery usually expands gradually, not such a fast quick rise, quick fall, quick rise, quick fall, quick fall, quick bounce. Well, you want more of a slower inflow and a steady pump over weeks, right? Bitcoin into Ethereum. And this is what I was just talking about. Bitcoin pumps. You see Ethereum start moving as well. Then the money flows into major altcoins and then you get the broader sectors. That is your altcoin season where a lot of money can be made. But you need one, two, three steps to work out before if Bitcoin pumps and then Ethereum starts pumping and then Bitcoin dumps, then you're not getting to your altcoin season. Small small caps. Same thing as if major altcoins start to pump and then Bitcoin dumps, your money will still not flow into these.

So you you need quite a bit of things money to flow in order to get like an altcoin season. When only highly speculative tokens rise while market leaders struggle, the movement may represent gambling appetite rather than actual durable liquidity. Macro conditions still matter though. Crypto trades inside a larger financial system. Things like Iran war, the oil, all of that kind of stuff unfortunately still matters. The recent Bitcoin rebounded received support from cooler inflation data, right, and improving expectations about monetary policy. However, the sustainability of that move still depends partly on the future Federal Reserve signals, right? raising that, you know, uh, basis points, right? Or cutting rates and continued capital inflows. My brain, it's it's firing on all cylinders. Too many cylinders. Watch inflation. Watch interest rate expectations. Watch the dollar strength, equity market risk appetite, credit conditions, geopolitical

shock. There's many things that you could look at. A favorable macro environment can support a recovery. A sudden tightening of financial conditions can change it. I wanted to do this segment tonight because we're near the bottom in my opinion of the bare market. But when I say near, I'm talking macro. Like we could still have till October, December, maybe into the beginning of next year before we have the actual bottom of the market on say the daily chart, the weekly chart. So I figured let's talk about why a trend has really changed and how we know when things are actually changing versus just getting overly excited because we pumped to 82,000 like we did and people got way too excited and it wasn't confirmed. Not just a little bit, but a lot equal to whatever the inflows were. Price rises while spot volume continually weakens. Leverage expands much faster than the actual demand. A big pump. You get far away from that 21-day moving average. That's the sauce, right? Ethereum and the broader market failed to participate. Invalidation doesn't mean Bitcoin can never recover. It just means that this particular recovery attempt failed to

prove itself, especially to the trend change. Monday's prelim preliminary classification. Based on the current evidence, the most responsible classification is recovery developing but not fully confirmed. This is talking about where we are right now. The supporting evidence for this is Bitcoin recovered from 60,000. It recently tested the mid60,000 range. ETF lows are improving. Inflation data helped risk sentiment. Some institution interest has returned as well. Here's what's unresolved though. Bitcoin has not decisively escaped a larger decline downtrend. Recent fund inflows remain small relative to earlier outflows. ETF participation has been pretty concentrated right in Black Rockck specifically. Prices struggled to hold above its recent high. Broader market participation remains inconsistent.
