Arbitrum has a plan to reopen Stylus. Every new contract gets an audit and a Foundation signature first.
New Stylus (Rust/WASM) contracts have been frozen on Arbitrum One and Nova since the Security Council's Oct. 2 emergency pause. A Constitutional AIP posted Oct. 23 would reopen them on Arbitrum One: pass a limited audit by an Arbitrum Security Program auditor, get a signature from an Arbitrum Foundation multisig, and a new contract lowers the activation block, switches your code on, and puts the block back, all in one transaction.
Existing contracts keep running and renewing. A no vote doesn't lift the pause. No vote date, auditor names, audit cost or signers yet.
Write Rust, deploy onchain, wait to be let in.
